Bread Wars

Just got back from a walk with the dogs...what else is new??

We went to a little park near our place and Heidi and Reese got to one area where they were pulling really hard. I couldn't see anything obvious, but eventually I saw Heidi dive towards something.

Then I noticed there were three huge chunks of a loaf of multigrain bread. Heidi scarfed two of them down by the time I figured out what was going on. Reese found the third one and carried it in her mouth like a prized possession. I didn't mind this at all except for the fact that Reese hadn't pooped by this point.

I knew as she carried her chunk of loaf, that nothing would happen in the poop department until the bread was out of the picture.

I gave her the benefit of the doubt...we walked through a gold mine of grass and fallen leaves.

Nothing.

Eventually I had to stop, break chunks off the bread and guard Reese from Heidi so she could eat it. Heidi managed to bully her way in to get a few crumbs.

But, finally about a block later. Success! Full house!!
