The time changed last night, so I was up bright and early (couldn't help myself!!) and after a little bit of time playing Critter Crunch - which I highly recommend you download on PSN - I decided to take the dogs out for a walk.
We did our usual route over to a park a few blocks from the apartment building. Not far from home, we ran into Waggy who was very excited to see us. It's been a while. The dogs were happy to see him too, and now that he's wearing a winter coat and gloves, I'm less worried that a sharp edge of the dog's nail will tear his tissue-paper skin. He was giggling and asking the "boys" how they were.
It was a doggie love-in when we got there...there was a husky-type dog and an english bulldog pup named Willow that we've met before. I decided to drop the leashes and let the girls romp a little.
There was a couple there who said they come to the park to see other people's dogs since they don't have their own...Heidi plopped herself down and was happy to suck up lots of attention. Reese did her usual walk by routine...she's not much of a sitter.
I really enjoy the fact that our dogs are so friendly with other dogs and with people. I don't think they'd ever hurt anyone and it's very cute to see them sucking up to random people.
We ran into Waggy again on the way back to the building, so they each got another head pat and a giggle from him.
