Stew's On!

So...made a huge batch of stew over the weekend! How does this have anything to do with the dogs you ask?

Well, I've actually started making dishes without onions so that we could add a little people food in with the dog food. I was never a big onion fan, so I don't miss them!

Needless to say, a couple of tablespoons of beef stew mixed into the kibble makes a big difference to the girls! I'm sure it must get boring to eat the same old thing all the time.

I'm sure some people would think I'm crazy to be making food for myself with the idea of sharing with the dogs in mind...but it's so cute to see them get so excited about their food. And on the economic side of things...if a few spoons of $20 stew can stretch out the $100 bag of kibble...then I'm all for it!!
